Privacy

National Prescribing Service Limited (NPS) (A.B.N. 082 034 393) is bound by the National Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This document outlines the policies undertaken by NPS in the collection, use and storage of personal information as a part of our business to provide independent evidenced-based information and services to health professionals and the community on Quality Use of Medicines (QUM).

All personal information collected by NPS for the purposes of this web site will be kept strictly confidential and stored securely. All and any information collected at this web site will be used only for the intended purposes and will not be sold, re-used, rented or loaned for other purposes.

Any personal information provided to NPS by site users will be treated with the utmost care, and will not knowingly be used in ways not explicitly consented to by the user who supplied the information and to whom the information refers. All staff who handle such data are bound by confidentiality agreements to protect the use and security of, and access to, the information.

NPS does not collect personal medical information, nor does it provide personal medical advice.
